Response of DGP, Tihar Jail to the PUDR on the Number and Status of inmates in Tihar jail

PUDR, through the Home Ministry, Delhi Government had sought information on the status of inmates in Tihar jail, w.r.t.

1. Total number of Prisoners – undertrials and convicted

2. Undertrials as on Length of Stay

3. Number of Children in Jail with age group.

4.  Offence wise Break up on Children.
