Ashok, 22 years old, belonging to the notorious Bawaria Tribe was picked up from his home by the Jahangirpuri police station on 9 February along with six other relatives, including his mother and sister Vimla. They were subjected to severe torture. Ashok and others were shifted to Sukrali police station on February 22 where they were again subjected to torture. Ashok was admitted to hospital on March 10 and he died on March 20. PUDR investigated the case.
