दिसंबर 2014  में पी. यू. डी. आर. का एक जांच दल छत्तीसगढ़ के बीजापुर जिले के 9  गांवों  में गया. जांच दाल ने क्षेत्रों में माओवादियों  से लड़ने के लिए तैनात सुरक्षा बलों  के द्वारा की जा रही गिरफ्तारिओ, धमकियों एवं उत्पीड़न के  साथ -साथ यौन  उत्पीड़न  की घटनाओं  को दर्ज़ किया।

Since June-July 2014, reports have been filtering in regarding the intensification of Operation Green Hunt in the forest villages of Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. Civil rights organizations have been receiving requests to send teams in order to investigate what was happening on the ground. To this end, PUDR conducted a fact-finding in the villages of Sarkeguda, Rajpeta,Kottaguda, Pusbaka, Basaguda, Lingagiri, Korsaguda, Kottagudem and Timmapur villages in Usur Tehsil of Bijapur District from 26th to 31st December 2014.

This report discusses the account of attack on Pardhi community in September 2007 in Madhya Pradesh, a notified tribe, on the assumption of criminal nature of the Pardhi community. The attack demolished the entire village by the local farmers with active connivance of state machinery, including police and higher administration, politicians including MLA.  The displacement and destruction also included murder and gang rape.   While the administration seems to have actively engineered the conditions for the demolition, the police remained steadfastly inactive.

On November 14, 2012, media reported that five Maoists had been killed and one red rebel captured during an encounter between the security forces and the Sabyasachi Panda faction in the Bhaliaguda forest area of Gobindapur panchayat of Gajapati district (bordering Ganjam), which falls in the jurisdiction of Mohana Police Station. Two independent teams (Human Rights Forum [HRF) and Odisha Sarvodaya Samaj [OSS]) had immediately gone for a fact-finding in the area. While the HRF team met the family members of four of the deceased, the OSS team had gone to the encounter site.
